You can connect to .HOT-SPOT.RO SECURE only after installing your digital certificate. This connection is accessed and encrypted based on an unique digital certificate for each user.

To generate the digital certificate the user has to follow the steps presented in the connection instructions, to generate and install the certificate, and afterwards, to connect to the encrypted connection .HOT-SPOT.RO SECURE.

The advantage of .HOT-SPOT.RO SECURE connection is that the radio traffic is encrypted between the device of the user and Hot-Spot.ro Wi-Fi equipment, unlike the unecrypted connection .HOT-SPOT.RO. The encryption of the connection is made though EAP-TLS security protocol.

The user of the encrypted connection .HOT-SPOT.RO SECURE is granted with free Wi-Fi for the entire period of availability of the digital certificate (usually 2 years), whenever in the coverage area of Hot-Spot.ro Wi-Fi network, regardless the Hot-Spot.ro location.

.HOT-SPOT.RO Connection

You can connect to .HOT-SPOT.RO without password from any mobile device equipped with a wireless adapter (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
Through this unencrypted connection all users are redirected to a page which allows fast navigation on the Web, after logging in by using a social network private account (Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn or Yahoo) or by SMS (a single authentication code is sent by the system to the user’s phone).

Using the encrypted connection .HOT-SPOT.RO is NOT RECOMMENDED if the user wants to access sensitive information (e.g. passwords, mail, authentication data for different accounts) because the data can be intercepted by vicious people.

If the user choses the unencrpyted connection .HOT-SPOT.RO he will be granted with free Wi-Fi acces for 24 hours session. After the expiration of this period of time it is required to reconfirm the user identity by a new login to the network.
